Coming up on 22 years…

Eventhough it’s late, but i’m already falling in love with blues. It isn’t only about the guitar speed or the image this music have been making, but the influence about its core music that can me feel so deep, so true and so blessed. There are so many legendary musician who played blues. They played each of their instrument with so much charisma. Because i’m learning to play guitar, there are so many names such as Jimi Hendrix, Philip Sayce, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Clapton, B.B King that i searched and try to study their pattern. From those names that i’ve mentioned before, i like the way Jimi Hendrix play his guitar, so much feeling in it. I can feel his rebelious-self through his play. Beside Hendrix, I adore this man on the picture, the man with hat, play ‘righty’. His name is Stevie Ray Vaughan or simply known as SRV. I like him because he was always fresh in playing his guitar. I love his playing style so much and most important, his speed and pattern was so great. I don’t know how to describe it because I’m a newbie, have a lil knowledge about music, but everytime I hear or watch his performance, it’s always some kind of magic. From his perfomances, I’m favouriting three of it : 1983 in Austin, 1989 in Austin and this picture, his jamming session with the legendary Albert King. Even he had gone, his legacy will always motivate me to learn the blues. I hope I can be like him in my own version. I LOVE SRV.
